Kim Geun-Bae, Ph.D.

김근배, Ph.D.

Dr. Geun-Bae Kim finished his Master's degree at Seoul National University (1991) and pursued his Ph.D. degree at McGill University (2004, Canada) with research focusing on Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Science and Technology, Chung Ang University (Anseong Campus) and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in milk science and organic chemistry.

His current research interest includes studies focusing on bioconversion of milk and milk processing by-products and bacteriocin production of lactic acid bacteria, as well as the development of a functional probiotic with emphasis on the conversion of conjugated linoleic acid.
